October has been a big month at Paybix, with improvements across payroll closure, country support, pay components and employee self-service. We’ve captured all the highlights for you below - enjoy! 🚀

🚀 October Release Overview

🧾 Pay Components

Smart calculations across periods
We’ve introduced a brand-new Smart Pay Component that allows calculations based on the previous payroll period. This gives you more flexibility for retroactive calculations, carry-overs, adjustments, and period-to-period logic.

👤 Employee Self Service & Personal Data

✨ New: Personal Data module for employees

Employees now get a transparent, secure view of their own personal information via the new Personal Data Module. HR can configure which data widgets employees may view, including:

• Identification data
• Civil state
• Address
• Bank account
• Contact information

This strengthens GDPR alignment by giving employees safe access to their records.

✍️ Self-service updates allowed (with policy control)

Employees can now update their data themselves — when the personal data policy allows it. HR decides what’s editable, so organizations stay in control. HR is notified of the change.

🔐 Closure & Handover

• Added a new validation step in the payroll closure handover. Users now explicitly confirm the closure before proceeding — reducing mistakes and improving auditability.
• Cintra closure integration: updated with the correct email destinations.

🌍 Country-specific Improvements

We’ve added several enhancements to keep Paybix aligned with local requirements.

🇮🇹 Italy

• Added a new XML integration file for compatibility with Zucchetti.

🇧🇪 Belgium

• Added additional contract end reasons for providers using Prisma.

🇩🇰 Denmark

• Added Taxes to the dedicated detail tab.
• Added environmental tax for company cars registered in Denmark.
• Added a specific DK export file (fixed dataset).
