The past weeks brought a wave of improvements across Epix, with a strong focus on usability, visibility, and integration power. From a fully renewed Home experience to smarter Self Service and stronger APIs, these updates are all about helping HR teams work faster and with more confidence.

๐Ÿ  A Smarter, Insight-Driven Home Experience

Weโ€™ve taken a big step forward in how information is presented in Epix.

A fully renewed Home screen (new UX)

The Home screen has been completely redesigned to help you spot what matters instantly:

  • New widgets like Validations to solve and Tasks & processes surface issues and ongoing work without digging.
  • Richer insights in the Home graph, including year-over-year comparisons (12 months ago) per country.
  • Clear trend indicators on all widgets, showing growth or decline at a glance.

Benefit: less time searching, faster decisions, and immediate visibility into trends and risks.

๐Ÿ“… Calendars That Finally Work the Way Users Expect

Calendars are core to HR workflows โ€” and we gave them the attention they deserve.

Personal & Team calendars redesigned

  • Personal calendars in Self Service now fully align with the new Epix design.
  • The Team calendar received a full visual overhaul and a long-requested Month view, next to the Week view.

Benefit: a clearer overview for employees and managers, fewer questions, and happier users (yes, really).

๐Ÿ‘ค A Cleaner Self Service Experience for Employees

Self Service keeps getting smarter and more intuitive.

New and improved widgets

  • My Pending Requests gives employees instant insight into actions that still need attention.
  • My Requests and the Balance chart make the Self Service home more informative and personal.

Clearer contract information

  • Contract widgets now split Employee and Population Type labels, making contract data easier to understand.

Benefit: employees are better informed, ask fewer questions, and feel more in control.

๐Ÿ” Simplified User & Access Management

We removed friction where it didnโ€™t add value.

  • User invitations can now be resent if the original invite was missed.
  • For SSO customers, irrelevant options like Change password and Reset 2FA were removed.
  • Onboarding emails for SSO users now link directly to the environment instead of a signup flow.

Benefit: a cleaner experience that matches how your authentication actually works.

๐Ÿ“„ Better Document Handling & Clearer Downloads

Small details, big impact.

  • Files can now be:
    • downloaded with their original name, or
    • opened in a new tab and handled by the browser.
  • Empty files generated during closures are clearly marked as empty.
  • Upload support expanded to TXT, CSV, DOCX, and XML.
  • Hand-over and invitation emails were rewritten for better clarity.

Benefit: fewer surprises, less confusion, and smoother handovers.

๐Ÿ”— Stronger Integrations & API Foundations

Epix continues to open up and integrate deeper into your ecosystem.

Prisma (Belgium)

  • More flexible mapping when company cars use different payroll codes.
  • Default pay component mappings (e.g. indexation, above scale) can now be configured once in the integration setup.

Public API

  • A new Pay Components API endpoint allows reading and writing pay components via the API.
  • Improved handling of Smart Pay Component period changes, ensuring linked payroll codes stay consistent.
  • Continued progress on the HCM integration.

Benefit: more automation, fewer manual steps, and a future-proof integration layer.

  • When an automated import fails, our support team is now notified automatically.

Benefit: faster reaction times and smoother issue resolution โ€” often before you even report it.
