πŸš€ What’s New in Epix – February 2026

February was a significant month for Epix. We launched the very first phase of a brand-new module and delivered a wave of improvements that make daily work smoother for HR teams, payroll professionals, and employees alike. Here's what's new.

πŸ’° New Module: Self-service Pay Components

We've taken the first step in building out self-service pay components β€” a new module that puts employees in control of their own pay-related information.

As a first step, HR and payroll administrators can now define a pay component policy at employer level, which enables a dedicated widget on the employee's home screen. Employees will be able to see their relevant pay components directly when they log in β€” no need to contact HR for basic information.

This is just the beginning. In the coming weeks, employees will gain access to a detailed view with history and graphs. In the coming weeks, team leads will get an overview of their team's pay components. More is on the way.

⚑ A faster, cleaner daily experience

We made a series of improvements to the everyday Epix experience:

  • Quick actions on the home page β€” the most common tasks are now one click away right after logging in, saving your team time every single day.
  • Smarter calendar navigation β€” calendars now show clearer date indicators (including a today marker in team calendars), improved density, and better behaviour when no entries exist. Adding collective calendar entries also works more reliably.
  • People list improvements β€” sorting order and page position are now preserved when navigating away and returning, so you don't lose your place mid-task.
  • Analytics filtering β€” filtering in the workforce analytics and person selection screens has been refined, including expanded dimensions for employer and paygroup reporting.

🧾 Reliable payroll & integrations

We strengthened the connection between Epix and your payroll providers:

  • Prisma users can now define a default payroll code for company cars, and set a default to automatically sync pay components β€” making Prisma integrations more flexible and reducing manual setup.
  • Zuchetti export files now fully match Zuchetti's expected format, resolving a structural issue that could affect file processing.
  • Payroll closure visibility β€” when export jobs are still running during payroll closure, you'll now see the processing state clearly, so you always know what's happening.
  • HCM sync test run β€” you can now execute a full HCM synchronisation in test mode. Review exactly what would change before applying it for real β€” a safer way to validate your sync before going live. We also expanded the list of available HCM marketplace providers.

πŸ”’ Data quality & access you can trust

Behind the scenes, we made your people data more reliable and your access controls more robust:

  • Former employee workflows now include clearer warning prompts, and contract end-reason validation has been strengthened to improve data quality.
  • Contract settings for subgender and related fields have been corrected, along with improved handling of edge cases in person imports.
  • Permissions and authentication received a round of fixes β€” including cleaner handling of out-of-service users, more consistent API authentication error behaviour, and SSO-related improvements.
  • Self-service documents no longer show a brief unauthorised state flash that some users were experiencing.
